SYSPRO Inventory provides an efficient method for recording and managing all movements that affect inventory and reflecting these movements accurately in the General Ledger. SYSPRO Inventory lies at the heart of SYSPRO and integrates with a number of other modules - Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Work in Progress, Bill of Materials, as well as General Ledger.  Inventory can be defined as those stocks or items used to support production (raw materials and work in process items), supporting activities (maintenance, repair, and operating supplies) and customer service (finished goods and spare parts).  All movements (receipts, issues to Work in Progress, transfers to other warehouses, adjustments, expense issues, etc.) are updated in the system, providing management with a tool to manage inventory.  SYSPRO Inventory supports every frequency of stock-take - whether, perpetual daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually - as determined by the nature of your business.  For each Inventory item, a detailed record is kept of all movements of the item, providing an accurate history to facilitate purchasing, manufacturing and forecasting.
